Surplus Optics:  Lenses and Eyepieces

These are surplus optics that have minor blemishes or marks, are part of a discontinued assembly or were obtained as a sample. The item conditions are:

• New: New optics in box that meet our optical standard.
• Grade A: Surplus optics in very good cosmetic condition and fully functional. New or almost like new.  Objective lenses either meet our standard or are commercial grade with highly accurate polishing.
• Grade B: May have minor scratches or blemishes that fall below our cosmetic standard and may appear to be in used condition but are fully functioning commercial grade optics or parts.
• Grade C: Lower rated condition as individually described. Commercial grade optics or parts.

E3023 discontinued version

This fully multi-coated 23 mm Kellner eyepiece. Many people rave about its performance as a general deep sky eyepiece. This eyepiece has a 50 degree field of view and about 20 mm of eye relief. Compare this to eyepieces cost several times more.  Quantities are limited. E3023-Ver C

#E3023C - Grade B condition: $20   

E3023 later version

This fully multi-coated 23 mm eyepiece using the same optics as above but this one is the later version and uses a tapered insert tube. These perform as new. Quantities are limited. E3023-Ver D

Made by GSO Optics in Taiwan. These are excellent eyepieces that outperform others selling for several times the price.  Open boxes, used as demo but never sold.

These currently sell elsewhere for $52. These are very nice fully multi-coated eyepieces with excellent transmission. 20 mm of eye relief, 65 degree FOV. Limited quantity
